UPDATE: Elevator out of order this weekend
October 28, 2023
Aloha C4 ʻOhana,
The elevator at our church will be out of order tomorrow, Sunday (10/29). The staircase will still be available with our team ready to assist our kupuna and young families with strollers before and after service.
Kahala Mall is working hard to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we are also working with the mall to provide a solution in another ground-floor location. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, especially for our young families and kupuna.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to worshipping with you as Pastor Chad concludes our series in Colossians!

The elevator at our church will be temporarily out of order this weekend, Saturday (10/21) and Sunday (10/22). The stairs will still be available with our Host Team ready to help young families and kupuna.

UPDATE: New Service Times

Aloha C4 ʻOhana,
As we have been sharing over the past few weeks, we have some exciting news regarding our service times. Due to an increase in attendance, we have decided to adjust our service times to better accommodate everyone based on the feedback we received in our church-wide survey.
Starting this Sunday (April 16th), our services will now begin at 8:00am, 10:00am, and 12:00pm. We understand that this may be an adjustment for some of you, but we believe that this change will allow us to continue to grow and serve our community even better. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to worshiping with you this weekend.

UPDATE: ʻOhana Day Cancelled
February 24, 2023
Aloha C4 ʻOhana,
We regret to inform you that our ʻOhana Day scheduled for this Sunday (2/26/23) has been canceled due to the high wind advisory and poor weather conditions throughout the week.
While we are disappointed to have to cancel, we want to assure you that we are already working on rescheduling this event for a future date. We will keep you updated as we finalize the details, and we hope that you will be able to join us when the time comes.
We apologize again for any inconvenience caused, and we thank you for your understanding. See you at church this Sunday!
UPDATE: C4 Mask Policy

Aloha C4 ‘Ohana,
We are approaching the end of Hawaii's mask mandate on Friday, March 25, 2022. Beginning Saturday, March 26th, 2022, we will follow the State's guidance on not requiring that people wear masks inside the C4 Church facility. This means that you can wear a mask or NOT wear a mask—the decision is 100% up to you.
Regardless of what you decide is best for you (and your family), let’s all respect each other's decisions because—at the end of the day--we are still one church and one family. Mahalo for your understanding and aloha through this important transition!

UPDATE: Online Stream Schedule
December 28, 2021
Aloha C4 ‘Ohana,
Starting January 1, 2022, we will no longer be streaming our:
1. Saturday evening Burn Service (7pm)
2. Saturday Re-Broadcast of the previous Sunday’s service.
Our Burn Service will continue on Saturdays (7pm-8:30pm) with an in-person option only.
Our Sunday Service is available online throughout the week on our YouTube Channel (C4 Church Hawaii) and here on our website.

UPDATE: Honolulu Marathon This Sunday

The Honolulu Marathon is scheduled for this Sunday, December 12th. For those of you who will be attending church in-person and live past the end of H1 East and to Hawaii Kai, please plan accordingly. UPDATE: Free COVID Testing Available

As we navigate through the COVID pandemic, we’ve continued to seek ways that we can be the church and serve the community where God has placed us.
Through the City and County of Honolulu, we have partnered with Embry Health to provide COVID testing in the Antioch space (old T-Mobile space in Kahala Mall) weekdays from 7:30AM - 2:30PM, through mid-November.
If you or anyone you know needs testing, especially with the new safe access Oahu program in effect, please feel free to partake and direct others to our Antioch space.

C4’s Current Vaccination Stance:
We know that during these turbulent times, there is a lot of dialogue surrounding the COVID vaccine and whether the church has a position.
At this time, C4’s official position on the COVID-vaccine is to empower each person to seek the Lord and speak to your healthcare provider to make the decision you feel is best for you and your family.
We feel that we need to have space for a difference of opinions - to be united in essentials, to allow for freedom in non-essentials, but in all things, love one another. With humility, gentleness, and patience, we are called to bear with one another in love, and maintain the unity of the body of Christ.
UPDATE: C4 COVID Update (Safe Access Oahu)

With Mayor Blangiardi’s “Safe Access Oahu” program going into effect on Monday, September 13th, 2021, we wanted to clarify the effects on C4:
We are not required to check for vaccination status or ask for negative test results. We will continue to host in-person activities, but for the duration of the program, we will no longer be providing food or drinks.
We want to remind you to please wear your mask at C4 at all times.

UPDATE: C4 COVID Policy

Aloha C4 ‘Ohana,
We’ve been made aware that some members of our C4 family have tested positive for COVID-19. We are in contact with the individuals and their families, and all are doing well and resting, and recovering at home. Out of respect for their privacy, we will not be sharing additional information.
C4 is taking the necessary precautions including notifying potential close contacts, and cleaning and disinfecting the impacted areas. If you have not been contacted by a member of our C4 staff, this means that you and your family are not considered a close contact.
We are continuing with our in-person activities, and we ask that you abide by our COVID policies including keeping face masks on in the facility at all times.
This Sunday, 8/29/21, our kid’s ministry will be ONLINE ONLY during our 10:30am service. Please email Dean Kaneshiro (Family and Kid’s Director) at dean@c4.church for more information.
Below you will find C4’s COVID Response Policy, which outlines our response when notified of a member of our family testing positive for COVID-19. We share this with you all so that you can partner with us as we navigate through this season with COVID-19.
If you are exhibiting any symptoms, or have been directed to quarantine, we ask, for the safety of others, to please refrain from participating in any on-site or in-person C4 activities. If someone in your household has been tested for COVID-19 or are exhibiting symptoms, please call the office before coming so we can assess the situation and determine whether a visit is appropriate.

UPDATE: Face Covering Policy

The health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors is of the utmost priority, and with that in mind, we have tightened C4's face covering policy, which is attached.
In summary, face coverings will be required during large gatherings which include, but are not limited to Sunday Services and Fresh Fire Burn Services.

We have made the following changes to our Foodbank Ministry and Fresh Fire Burn Service. Please make the appropriate changes to your calendars.
Foodbank Ministry (Starting August 7th):
First Saturday: Foodbank Popup (Kahala Mall, 8:00am - 9:30am)
Third Saturday: Delivery Service

Fresh Fire Burn Services (Starting August 21st):
Every Saturday: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
*Our Burn Service will continue to be streamed online
UPDATE: Family Lounge is now open!

As we continue to gather, our heart is to remove the barriers that would hinder anyone from attending in person. We are excited to share that our Family Lounge is now open. The Family Lounge will be available for nursing moms and families with toddlers is available for both Sunday Services.
We also hope this makes it easier for you to invite your family and friends. We will still be requiring people to wear masks.

Our Saturday Online Worship Experience will now be a re-broadcast of the previous weekend’s service. As we now gather for in-person services on Sundays, we wanted to provide an opportunity for people to catch the previous weekend’s service just in case they missed it.

UPDATE: Easter Weekend In-Person Services

Aloha C4 ‘Ohana,
We hope you’ve been spending some awesome time in reflection during Holy Week, preparing to rejoice in Christ's resurrection. Although we were so excited to celebrate Easter with you in-person, one of our C4 staff members has tested positive for COVID. We are happy to report that the individual is doing well and recovering at home. Everyone who was in close contact with the individual has been contacted and is following applicable COVID protocols. Our facility has also been cleaned and disinfected.
With the safety of our staff and community being of utmost importance, we have decided to cancel all in-person services and invite everyone to our online services this weekend: Saturday 4/3 at 4:30pm, and Sunday 4/4 at 8:30am and 10:30am on our C4 Youtube Channel.

Good Friday Family Service (4/2) is cancelled
All Onsite Services at Kahala on Sunday (4/4) are cancelled
Saturday Fresh Fire Burn Service (4/3) is cancelled. We would like to encourage our FreshFire community to watch our Easter weekend message.
In-Person Service at Kahala on Tuesday (4/6) is still on.
We realize at first glance this may be disappointing, but we truly believe that God is moving in our midst. Although this is unexpected, let’s focus our excitement and anticipation on what God is wanting to do through this glorious season of resurrection. We have a powerful message of HOPE and testimony by Tammy Moniz that you won’t want to miss! Let’s turn disappointment to a victory cry by inviting everyone we know to join us online to celebrate God and all that He has done for us through the resurrection of His Son, our King!
